Mobile Deluxe seeks Junior Programmer to work on application development and Internal Development Platform.  The ideal candidate will be an entry level programmer with training in Java or C/C++.  BS in Computer Science or Engineering is required.  We are looking for bright individuals who want to continue their education on the job and learn how to do things the right way.  We expect our programmers to strive to overcome obstacles.  Must be able to work as part of a cohesive team unit, taking direction and feedback from other team members.

Experience with Objective-C is a major plus.  Experience with Facebook Connect or other 3rd Party mobile APIs and/or experience with HTML 5 and JavaScript are a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively estimate task and project durations
  • Do whatever it takes to meet goals and hit deadlines
  • Develop software for cutting-edge mobile applications
  • Help implement monetization methods
  • Work with Technical Director, producer, artists, and testers
  • Test, debug and revise code as needed
  • Assist in analyzing game performance and fine-tuning to team specifications
  • Work as part of a team, reporting and communicating accordingly
  • Play Ping-Pong (“wicked backhand” specifically requested to team up with Technical Director)
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Programming skills in Java, C/C++ and/or object oriented design
  • Self-starter able to motivate and achieve extraordinary things
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Strong debugging and some experience with code optimization
  • Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities while being a team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to document & write specification
  • Strong attention to detail
